Matthew is the bridge between the Old and New Testaments — using the word fulfilled at least 14 times to declare Jesus as the promised Messiah. From the opening genealogy, he makes his case: Jesus is the Son of David, the rightful King. The question Matthew keeps asking is simple — have you made Jesus your King?
